What’s the best music in a video game?
After learning some chords for Re: Your Brains, I got to thinking… hmm. There’s been some awesome music written for video games all these years, from geek-rocker Jonathan Coulton’s hilarious Still Alive, hailed as one of the greatest game credit songs in video gaming history, to the cinematic orchestral symphonies associated with modern first-person shooters such as Halo 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, to the ever classic Russian styled 8 bit bloops of Tetris.
So.
All you gamer/rockers, what’s your favorite soundtrack for or song in a video game?
Note: Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Singstar, Dance Dance Revolution and other music-based/rhythm games don’t count.
All the Castlevania games have a great soundtrack.
